Yup, the classic versions are better in nearly every case. 100% of the American cars are better in the classic version.

Never seen anyone nostalgic over the old Ford Explorer. You couldn't pay me to use one of those over the current version. Don't worry, I'm getting off your lawn now.

I don't like the original Explorers, but the new one is one of the ugliest SUV's I've ever seen. My sister has a 5 year old one, it's beautiful imho.

I was having a discussion at work the other day regarding the looks of mustangs/camero's in the late 70's to the early 90's and said, "I wonder who made those designs and thought, Hey this looks way better than the stuff we made 10 years ago." I often wonder if the designs were changed because the general public felt that the body lines of the 60's era cars looked too old, or if they thought that they were making a trendy car that looked awesome at the time.

Those Z8s have held their value really well or even appreciated.

I wouldn't touch that old Rolls Royce... those are money pits.

VW Golf? Why is that even on the list? Those were shit when they came out and they're still shit.

There are some other odd choices in that list too and why is Lamborghini on there twice? With the exact same cars???

Modern about 80 percent of the time IMHO. That gto is a slap in the face though. Nothing like a Vauxhall rebranded in to a Pontiac.

I'd probably take the modern in every single case, I generally like the styling better and new tech wins every time.

Older styling 99% of the time for me, though I'll take modern handling, power and economy.

Christ on a bike, modern cars are gigantic...

There are a couple of exceptions, sure, but damn, most of those old cars look tiny compared to the modern versions. Almost all of the newer cars look slightly bloated as well.

Amazingly only the Fiat 500 manages to look exactly the same, just a bigger version of butt-ugly!.

The only ones where the new wins is the Explorer, the Bugatti, and maybe the Fiat. Don't know why a few are on that list, like the Insight (Nobody wins there, nobody), the Evo, the WRX, Viper or the McLaran, and of course the Golfs. Heck, there's barely 5 years between the Evos!

Anyone buying an SUV for looks might want to check their man card.

Yeah, they should've had a pic of an original Evo..
