I was wondering why the users can't see names of moderators for each forum?

The reason I ask this is because what if some user (a newbie like me) wants to send a PM to moderator of that forum
for any issues or questions that he/she might have and seeks quick response.

As of right now, I wouldn't know who are the moderators for off-topic forum. Several message boards that I belong to all list the mods for each forum.

Anand wants the moderators to be anonymous, and due to the size of this message forum I can see why. You can always private message the moderator if you choose to do so. Otherwise you can simply post your question and let the general population provide you with an answer.

Well that's just it. Since I don't know who the moderators are, how can I send them a pm without knowing who they are?

Ahhh, so you don't send a pm to an individual mod like other sites.
