I had to create a new account because I couldn't access the Private Message system and my emails were not being answered.

I am curious as to why I was banned after a moderator told me I could post. I was told not to "bash" (their words) anyone, which I did not.

Is this ban permanent? If so, how do I collect a refund for the Premium Member Services subscription? I paid for a year in advance.

You were specifically asked to NOT post in that thread anymore. You argued about it and then later you still posted when you were warned not to.

You have at least a month away to consider your attitude.
