Moderators: Lockable threads, and an idea ...

Well, first the idea:

Make a single thread (stickified or not) that people would post links to lockable threads. This way, Forum Issues would be cleaner, as there would be only one thread regarding the same issue.

What do you guys think?

Oh, and on to the bad threads ...

A few people have brought that up in the past and the Mods have vetoed the ideam they prefer it how it is.

it has been suggested many times, here is what the mods had to say in a PM to me about the issue.

My PM to them

<< Dear, AnandTech Moderator

as you may or may not have read my suggestion in forum issues to compound all the "Lock this nef" threads into one, I thought I may also ask for it in a PM. I am all for members helping out with trouble makers, and all, however I think it would be cleaner for forum issues to have 1 thread for all "lock this nef" posts instead of a post for each, if discussion between members is in order I suggest they use the quote button to mark what "Lock" post is in need of discussion and discuss. (did I use the word discuss enough yet )

please take my suggestion into consideration and thank you for taking the time to read it.

Narzy,

Thank you very much for your suggestion. It will be considered..😉

But frankly seperate threads get our attention better. Why open one thread when it may have just posts from others commenting on something instead of helping us.

thanks,

hope that answers the question. 🙂
