I tried looking for a thread to explain how long moderation approval for each post you make takes, and I can't seem to find any information on that. After every reply or post I make (maybe it's because I'm new) I have to get it approved by a moderator.

Will this go away, or does everyone go through this?

See my reply in post #10. -Admin DrPizza

There are a lot of victims, I mean members this time of year and when school is out. Once the Meat Cleaver mod gets to your number (you did take number right?)...all should be clear.

You have to prove you're not a spammer by providing people with free ipods.

Heh, I was the only person in the post office one day with like 4 tellers and they wouldn't help me without taking a number.

Probably because for some reason, the anti-spammer software has flagged you. Could be your IP address or any number of things. If you're thinking "I'll post for a while, then sneak in some spam" - don't. We submit it all to an anti-spamming service and those links get censored from many forums (not just these forums.)

Welcome to the forums, btw, assuming you're a normal person. :)
Most people don't have to go through a "get your posts approved" step, ever.

edit: I looked. I can't find any particular reason. Your posts don't appear to be spam. Your IP doesn't match that of known spammers. No clue. I remember approving one of your posts last night. If you continue to have problems with this, start a thread in the moderator discussion forum - that's the forum where you can have a discussion with the moderators & probably the best place for this type of inquiry - and for that reason, I'm going to lock this thread for now.

Then again, we have some members who have to have EVERY post pre-approved by the mods...:p
