Moderate WLMM use & spare SSD

I have a spare SSD and I moderately use Windows Live Movie Maker. My main/boot/OS drive is an SSD also. First of all, would it be beneficial to use the spare SSD in any way such as ??? I don't know, a page file? or scratch disk? and secondly how would I do it?

I'm not sure if WLMM is a "real" enough video editing program to have a dedicated scratch file, but I could be wrong.

Eh, I got the spare SSD, might as well use it

Like you've said, you might as well. If it provides no benefit, you could always remove it and use it elsewhere.

Well, what I meant was more along the lines of WLMM might not give you the option to move the scratch file, not that it wouldn't theoretically benefit.
