Situation:
DSL 12 meg service over provisioned to 15.8. SNR is 6.1 db
CRC Errors: 164
RS FEC corrections 1113727
30 minute FEC corrections 19768
The above is over an 8 day period.
The question is : What is an acceptable number for the above values?
The modem is new and updated to the latest firmware. The provider has made attempts to stabilize the connection to keep it from dropping out. It now stays connected for up to 15 days. Over the years I have had nothing but trouble with the lines.
