model cars

I just started working on model cars as a hobby. So far its going good other than putting decals on. They come off easily if touched. I was wondering is there something I can use to make them stay? Could I go over them with clear finger nail polish or something to seal them in. Need something that won't mess with the paint.

So far I've only got around to putting decals on the inside of the car. I am guessing some clear coat will seal them on the outside?

There's a solution that you can apply onto the area where the decal is going to be applied to. It's called decal setting solution or something similar. It helps the decal stay in place and make it stick better.
