Modding the Gigabyte K8NXP-9

Hi all,

The Gigabyte K8NXP-9 is a quality board, I only have the PCI-E version as no real need for SLI. However, I have near silent 80mm fans installed and the Artic 64 CPU Cooler is near silent too, and my graphics card uses silent heatpiupe technology so that's dead quiet...obviously!

The chipset fan on this mobo makes a right racket though and so wondered if anyone else has tried replacing it. I've bought a silent Papst 40mm fan and I might try to get the beauty on there instead of stock fan, but not sure about clearance for PCI Graphics card.

Any ideas people? Would appreciate you help.

Cheers

Gregas
