Modding section

I actually agree, when I went to post my core 2 duo custom case project I was like "wait... what? no case mod forum?".
 
Well if that is the admin response, what about adding something to the description to state that is where casemodding belongs? Cases, cooling, and modding perhaps?

Why? Everyone should be able to figure that out. I mean, you are modding and showing off your CASE or COOLING loop, etc....

It's not like you'd post it in P&N or Love and Relationships......
 
I ignored your irrelevant and off topic post the first time, apparently you didn't get the drift.

Since when is modding an mSATA port into an x41 tablet pc a case or cooling thing? Or making a monitor or keyboard look steampunk? Or electrifying a workbench which you use for computers (which I have done, and posted, btw)?
Casemodding does NOT equal modding. There's a lot more to mod. Did you not think of that?

We want a place for mods and modding talk, not just for cases and cooling modifications. If the moderators want it to be in cases and cooling, that's great!

Is this seriously that damn hard to figure out? I mean SERIOUSLY?

We don't need a different section for every thing. There are plenty enough already. Just search through ALL of Anandtech and you'll see there are NOT a lot of "modding" posts that absolutely NEED to stand out on and warrant an entire section of their own.

dude that's why we want a Modding section.many might have checked out the forum and left without posting their mods just because they don't know where to submit it.:sly:
 
all I got is a suggestion for a new section for modding.after all we do have social section in this forum which in my opinion is a not a must have for a tech forum

I think we have too many sub-sections as it is. That's my opinion. I tried to get them reduced, I was ignored.

the best solution for my suggestion would be renaming the sub section cases and cooling to cases cooling and mods
