Modding question

Have a stripped down psone lcd screen for the lcd mod and am going to place it in inthe 5.25 bay. My question is would the metal slot covers or the metal of the case short circuit the the pcb board of the ps1 lcd screen? brief picture for explanation

pardon the crude drawing, but yea if that helps out with the total thought.

that doesn't help....basically...if metal touches circuitry...thats bad

those are invisible slot covers in the pic btw so you can see where the pcb board would be
