I was wondering if I could find some information on modifying my quadro card to a geforce card for purposes of gaming?

Perhaps so I can install a game driver, or play games better. Soft mod, hard mod, I don't even know the difference really, but any information and guides would be appreciated.

Thanks!

what card?

doable most likely, for most cards it's a matter of using rivatuner to force the device ID to the geforce equivalent. however:

- you may be limited in the drivers that will work, and will almost certainly work only in windows
- it probably won't help all that much. %5 at the very most, if at all.

if you really want a gamer card, chances are you can sell the quadro and buy the gamer equivalent and still have cash left over.

lol, never heard of this one. ive always read the hype about making a geforce a quaddro. isnt a quaddro much more expensive? seems silly to go the other way.

I would either sell it, or just keep it. But either way, I would actually get a gaming card instead of dessecrating a Quadro...
Tas.
