for the past few weeks, hell a lot longer. But a few weeks now I've been mulling over ptiing my PC into a new case and going water cooling.

Case wise I'm having trouble deciding but I think my final 2 choices are the Coolermaster Cosmos & the Silvestone TJ07. Since I'll be water cooling I want to have a window, both frozencpu & performance-pc have already modded versions. I'm leaning towards the Silverstone seems like the bottom compartment would be better to hide the radiator and such. Problem is I really don't like the windowed version either offer, it's bolted on the outside, murderbox mod of the 07 has the window mounted on the inside of the panel and personally I think it looks a whole lot cleaner and more elegant.

I suck with a dremel, I'd have no problem going to town with one on a cheapy $30 generic case, but this Siverstone is like $330 and no way in hell I'd attempt to do any physical modding to it that can't be undone :)

I googled around but don't see any place selling a modded version with the inner window, no sense in me contacting the murderbox dude because I know he sells the whole setup and won't just sell me a case.

ideas would be good, if I can't find what I'm looking for pre-modded, or get it done for a resonable rate (case is already $$$!) I may just end up going with the Cosmos. I'd like to find the Silverstone though.

help me! :)

If the window is screwed in, you can just take it out, put it on the inside, and screw it back in. If it's riveted, you can undo the rivets and re-do them with the window on the inside, if you have the tools.

wouldn't that lead to holes showing on the outside of the case? on the Murderbox the panel shows has no visable holes where the window is screwed/riveted in

Or get an $8 rivet gun from home depot and rivet it back into place. I've used rivets to hold in windows and the such for a few years and they look pretty nice when everything it said and done. You can even polish them upa little, get some chromy lookin accents on your sidepannel.

OP, I know how you feel. I took my case to a machine shop and had them do the cutting. I haven't put the window in yet, but the hole is there for it.

Hmmm, I remember a shop where you could buy a p182 with a window and I think that one was done the way you wanted it. Stupid thing is, I don't know what shop it was, but several people on these forums have done it.

that's what I'm looking for, I don't want any holes/rivets showing on the outside of the panel. I know there has to be places that will do this, problem is finding one.
