So, i love my Zowie FK1, but the sides are a bit slippery. if i claw grip it, the right side (pinky) doesn't grip well. So i thought, what if i scratch the sides to make the plastic rough?

Then my brain did some more work on that, and i realized i can instead mod it wih grip tape, instead of breaking it.

Has anyone done any grip mod before? or has otherwise experience with grip tape?

Looking around, most grip tape mods are for guns. Which is all good if you're in 'Mmerica but here in the U of K if you just as much type "gun" into Amazon you get arrested.
No seriously, if you type "gun grip tape" in Amazon you don't even get the results that you would get if you type "grip tape".

So .. Anyone?

Plain old fabric duct tape works for me. Pick a color. :)

No idea to be honest, was just brainstorming for you. Hockey tape as Rifter mentioned sounds like a good idea and was actually more like what I was going for. I don't play sports ball of any kind so was just grasping for something with grip tape that wasn't a skateboard that would sand your fingers off.

I use grip tape on my phone case. It works well but the tape will start to slip if the glue gets warm enough. The smaller the piece of tape the easier it will move.

I've considered putting a piece of tape on the foward thumb button. Sometimes I have a hard time distinguising it from the other side buttons.

Since the issue occurred about a year ago, I find your suggestion curious. Will be watching.

Adding grip tape is a pretty common mod for the Naos 7000. Many put tape on both the right grooves but I found adding it to the pinkie groove was enough. I've had the tape on for 11 months now without issue.
