Modding a few HD enclosure cases

Hey, guys. I'm looking into getting some external enclosures (probably 3). I'd like them to be sweet looking so as not to compromise the looks of my modded PC case. I looked at a few aluminum enclosures, but I don't like their prices much, especially when I'm buying more than one.

SO I've decided to mod some cheapies. I think I'll pick up a few Bytecc enclosures and go to town. I'd like the mods to have similar themes, but I'd like them to be slightly unique.

The two ideas I've come up with already include an acrylic holder (think napkin holder concept) with the drives individually encased in acrylic. My other thought would be making individual cases out of Legos. This way they'd be stackable, unique, and slightly original.

What do you guys think?

Great ideas........... especially like the Lego concept as the finished enclosures could be easily changed later on.

I have another company's version of the Bytecc enclosures and I put some Leds inside and intake fans on the front for cooling.

Have fun

Marc
