Modding a 2000+ to 2600+ 266fsb ??

i have an older msi kt133a board and my 2000+ appears to be locked
anyone know how to mod it to a 2600+ 266fsb (which is the highest the board supports) ??

these new t-bred's suck
ohh well i'm happy tho
i tryed modding the L3 bridges but nomatter what combination i made it seemed to have no effect
completely bios oriented settings, with no controll

welp anyways i upped the fsb a litttle and have it at 2100+ speed

i can't even set the fsb to 100 in the bios
only 133 and up

Almost all of the new XP chips are locked (except the mobiles). There is a mod you can do that changes the chip into a mobile so you can access the lower multipliers.

yeah that's the problem i need higher clock mults
like 16 and up

i'm prob just gonna break down and buy another motherboard
either abit kv7 or nf7-s

I'd get the NF7-S, mine hasn't had a single problem in the 3+ months I've had it.
