Got mine with a 200GB, Evox , all the goodies and 1000roms. I haven't play a Xbox game yet.
It is also my HTPC. I can play dvd from my PC DVD. It is hooked up to my Plasma TV, and again it rocks.
I used to be PS fan now i am XBOX convert.

Well if you own a modded Xbox i would like to hear from you.

So this is the critical issue in life that gets you riled up eh? Exercise a modicum of self-restraint and choose NOT to click on a thread that you're not interested in.

 
Recently modded mine with an X-Chip and an 80GB hard drive I had laying around. I love Super Nintendo games, so I play them quite a bit on my Xbox. I also have a bunch of MAME games loaded on mine too. All in all, one awesome piece of equipment.
 
I tried modding mine with one of those 40+ ones a couple years back. About halfway through, after a few amazing solders (if I may say so myself), the points started coming off. Unfortunately the soldering iron I had bought was 40W, and I should've used a 15W. This oversight led to the destruction of my Xbox, which was later sold for $100.

By the way, how much does a modded one end up costing?
