How are they modded? On laptopvideo2go's forums, there is someone who modded a few recent nv drivers, but I dont think any of them are modded how I wanted them. Also, why weren't any of the 200 series modded, but the 100s and some of the 300 series are?
I haven't tried the modded drivers, but from what I understand they force trilinear mipmapping (which hasnt even been an option in any gtx460 or later official drivers) but then they force some depth optimizations, so I'm not going to use them which is a shame.
How difficult would it be for nvidia's driver team to add the option back to force trilinear mipmapping? I was thinking it would just be a few lines of code and that it would be easy for someone who knows how to code drivers, but I don't know for sure so that's why I'm asking. I'd also love it if they added the option back to render zero frames ahead.
