Modded BIOS = Can increase maximum voltages?

My current VDIMM is maxed out at 2.9v, and I believe my memory can take higher voltages. I've seen plenty of mods which involve soldering. While its possible to do that, I think I would perfer a soft-mod instead. Can a modded BIOS enable me to push higher voltages into my NF7-S? Has anyone done this before?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure there are modded BIOS' for the NFS-S. Check out the nforcershq.com They have a good forum where people post all kinds of bios's and drivers and stuff.

No Problem, I usta visit theire quite a bit when I had an Asus A7N8X DLX. They had modded bios' and tweaks for the boards all the time. I am pretty sure there was a few people who ran 3.3vdimm with a modded BIOS and could bump the Vcore up quite a bit highier than the stock one as well.

what type of ram are you running?

Might just need a better BIOS :)

EDIT: one of these will help

a few confirmed good BH5 BIOS's

EDIT: I've tried around 50 different BIOS's for the NF7-S. currently using a small variation of modbios3.

Its CPC on and I am able to do 250 FSB with it, the only cpc on bios that has been able to do that for me.

Wheres Megatomic?

I havent checked with my board because its currently out of service but I was using the Splitfire D26 (think it was 26 BIOS) and I didnt notice any changes in voltage options.

Abits official forums have a few eager bios modders who do a good job. Check them out. Im on the fence here though :)
