Can anyone do something to a thread that makes it so you can see that the question has been answered, with out having to open it?

What about answers that are uhm...a bit suspect? Somebody may have tried to answer a question, but just because it's been answered doesn't mean it's correct or that more answers/discussion aren't valid...

The original poster always has the option of editing the thread title. So if they do get an answer they find satisfactory, they can edit the title to add "(Solved)" or the like. But it's up to the original poster.

But I don't like it when they remove the whole title and replace it with something like "Never mind, solved". That makes it impossible to use the original thread title if you want to search for it later.
