the laws that say when stores can be open and when stuff can be sold. like here in texas you can't sell alcohol at a restaurant after midnight. and in a bar none after 2. used to be grocery stores weren't allowed open on weekends. that was annoying.

Wedesdo Since the ad reads starts on Sunday (plus says 3 days only) and the B&Ms r closed under NJ law that is a no no. So they MUST honor it on Saturday !

You must be up in Northern NJ (Paramus, maybe?). I think that's the only area (county-wide?) that still has full retail Blue Laws (all stores closed). I'm down in Central NJ and the CompUSA B&M's are open on Sunday. Not that they have any of the sale items in stock on Sundays, but at least they're open. :Q

I think they keep the Blue laws up your way to give you folks one day of rest from the NY shoppers that flood that area (to beat the high taxes). The rest of the state is only Blue for alcohol sales on Sunday.

I would think that compusa will know if their numbered receipt has been used in a rebate; I am just guessing they keep it in their rebate database to prevent the same receipt being used for another rebate.
