i was going thru OCworkbench and i came up with this thread, its suggesting that perhaps the cooling to the sis chipset is not good enough.

after reading that thread i did my "modification" by first taking the chipset heatsink out, also looking at the heatsink on my Geforce3, it kinda looked wimpy but good enough for the sis chipset so i took that off from the video card as well.

i got my old celeron 633 heatsink&fan, drilled some holes on it to match the holes on the Geforce3 card (how nice!! since it makes it so much easier to mount any heatsink u want), put that on the gefoce3 (ti200 btw), and put the heatsink&fan from geforce 3 and put that on the SIS chipset. (im still trying to figure out how to mount that to sis chipset perminantly...)

now im running a loop demo in 3d marks and so far so good. (its at 230/540 at this point)

and looking at other motherboards that are coming out recently, they have fan on their chipsets as well...

so if you are having problem with locks ups or overclocking, this might help..

good luck and have fun :) :)

ASII epoxy should work for that?

thanx.. i think that might be my ONLY solution, since there is no hold or anything around the chipset..

right now computer is lying on its side so its fine.
