MOBO with two 1151 sockets. Possible?

I saw an April Fools joke from EVGA that had a MOBO with like 3-4 sockets. I first thought wow! Then I quickly noticed the #Aprilfools tag. But that got me to thinking. Is it not possible to make a MOBO with two 1151 sockets like they do for Xeon? There must either be a technical limitation or the demand isn't there?
 
Well, you could. But they would end up being two separate systems essentially. Socket 1151 chips wouldnt have any way of talking to each other.

This is normal in the server world. Back in the day, there were a few different socket types that supported it though, including some 'workstation' boards, such as this monstrosity:
