I have had an MSI K7N420 Pro sitting in my closet unused for quite a while. Unfortunately, I do not have a CPU to complement it. I'm looking to buy one now, but will I be able to buy a chip >1800+ without being able to update the BIOS beforehand?
Not sure if I asked that very well, but basically I want to know if I need to have a CPU that is 1800+ or less to update the BIOS so that it can accept faster processors.
