I havn't built a computer in 2 months and well, I'm kind of behind. I;ve built about 5 computers with the ECS board with problems..... But still because of the cheapness of the board i think i will still turn to it once again for another build. Err but this time its my computer I'm building. This and a Xp2000+.

Any oter good cheap mobo's out there? What about the Shuttle AK35

Hey, what kinda problems were u having w/ the ECS boards? I had a few problems with it too w/ my first one, it wouldn't cold boot w/ my Duron properly. Heck.. that was about it coming to think of it. It's running great for me now though w/ the new 3.x revisions. No boot issues, stable as a rock. These boards are great! Performance, price and stability. ONly thing is lacking in oc'ing features, but ahh well! Great boared for the price. I say go for it! Nothing else you gonna find that's that good! If you can get a K7S6A though, grab that. It has some oc'ing features unlike the K7S5A :) But if you need SD-Ram (like i do) then go for the K7S5A!
