Which one of these mother board / video card combinations would work the best.

Or if you can think of a better combo (try to be to much more expensive than what I posted) then please give me your advice on that.
 
I would pick the ATI MSI combo.
Of course, the nvidia is SLI so it depends on where you want to go in the future.

You must be joking.

The 6600 GT will be better than the 9800 Pro at pretty much everything. If you're looking for just one PCIe x16 slot, you can also check out Chaintech's VNF4/Ultra, which was around $120 there, last I checked.

EDIT: Saw the AIW on the 9800 Pro... are you planning on using the card for PVR features or something? A separate card may be a better choice (Happauge?).

I've also heard that PCIe 6600 GTs a bit cheaper at ZipZoomFly, so check them out too.
