Mobo screws question

I was just wondering if, when mounting my mobo in my case, if I am supposed to use any non metal washer or something like that in addition to standoffs. For instance, should I put a plastic washer between the standoff and the mobo, or put the washer between the screw and the mobo, etc?

I am thinking I don't need to do that and just the standoffs are fine, but I wanted to double check. I have had some crummy luck with what looks like shorts in the last 6 months, but these incidents have been months apart with everything working great in the meantime. Just wondering if I am missing something with the build. Thanks.

Nothing else needed, just the standoffs and screws. Be sure you use the right number of standoffs and have them in the right place.
