I know I should probably upgrade but this pc is only a year old and I am having a heck of a time finding a mobo to replace this one. Its a Gateway FX7024. I have 8gigs of DDR2 667 memory that I would like to move to this new mobo. Can anyone suggest a mobo that is still available? I have always o/c my cpus but when I bought this pre-built system I realized how limited you are....and it drives me crazy!

well, if it's a Gateway, you will need to replace the case and power supply as well if they are not standard ATX convention. You might want to check on that.

Otherwsie, a great board is the Gigabyte EP45-UD3R. I have the UD3P version (the UD3R has only 1 PCIe x16 slot. the UD3P has 2), and I love it for my Q6600.

These are just G41/43/45 listings:

If you want to get into OCing heavily, DFI even makes a mATX beast.

Oh ya...you are right...I checked the Gateway website which I have visited many times before and it list my mobo as a Micro ATX......I always assumed a mATX was a mini pc but this case is full size...thanks for your response
