Hi all. Gotta build a new PC for my brother quick since his mobo crapped out on his 3.5 yr old POS PC. Just need a quick recommendation for < $120 shipped. Only need 1x PCIe 16 slot and raid/1394 is not necessary. Anything more is okay provided it stays under budget.

Will be OCing for sure and will be paired with E5200, E7200 or E8400 (haven't decided yet) so it must have 45nm support right out of the box.

Was looking at these 3:

Giga EP35-DS3L ~ $94 shipped
Asus P5Q SE/R ~ $105 shipped
Foxconn P45A-S ~ $120 shipped

Leaning toward the Gigabyte but not sure if they've fixed that DPC latency issue. With Asus, am not crazy about placement of 24pin power connector (makes cable mgmt painful). And return policy on Foxconn board at Newegg sucks (non-refundable).

Other suggestions welcome, thx.

Im leaning towards this XFX board for my next upgrade, but everything Ive heard about that Gigabyte board is good as well.

@Cheex -- Yeah, thinking the same thing too -- hence why it was first in my list.

@ksheets -- Thx anyway but I'll be avoiding 680i. Nothing but probs with that chipset plus I need 45nm support out of box.
