Mobo reccomendations for AMD XP 1900/2000+ please

i am going to get a new amd xp 1900 or 2000+ system. I am looking for mobo reccomendations. I was at 1 website & they said that the Soyo KT4 Dragon Ultra and the Shuttle AK37GTR are all-around solid performers.

someone else told me that the Gigabyte KT400 out performs the SOYO, just doesn't have media card reader with it and costs less.

also i was told to wait until they have solved the bugs they have with the KT400 ....is this true? are there bugs with this mobo?


i was also told that If your looking for preformance look to the ABIT MAX, or EPOX
kT400 motherboards


so which of the above is correct?

The three top performing motherboards, hands down are Asus, Abit, and Epox.
Here is an ABIT REVIEW that makes a solid statement.

If you don't need to move up to a KT400 series, there are some KT333 BOARDS that are pretty good too.
