UPS guy left my new mobo on the front porch. It was around 100 degrees today and when I touched the mobo it was pretty hot.

I was just wondering if it could have been damaged by the heat. It was out there for around 30 minutes.

I would test it but I wont be getting a cpu and ram until next week. Just a little worried.

Mobo is a Gigabyte P55 USB3.

No, it should be fine. If you can cook an Xbox 360 mobo into an oven to "fix" RROD, your mobo should be fine after 30 minutes in a box under the sun.

They're cooked in the oven much hotter than your doorstep before they leave the factory. ;) I think your board is fine.

The boards are kept at 100°C for over an hour during manufacturing. So unless that driver can withstand 212°F it is fine.

Even inside my gtx480 GPU chip under load, 100c is considered normal by Nvidia.
I just wished my pizza had been delivered that hot.
