Mobo Rant

The ECS motherboard I got is DOA, so I need something new. I am hoping planning on building a TBred overclocking rig and have everything, but a mobo. Now if only I knew what mobo to get. Got any suggestions? *I will definitely stay away from ECS because this is the 9th DOA board I have gotten.*

go for an nforce board. most people here recommend the epox.

Thanks, but I want to stay away from anything with onboard video. I do need onboard sound and LAN though.

thats what i heard...anyways, I was looking at the azus's over at newegg and they had some really good deals....and just a q...if the mobo does have onboard video cant you just disable it??

I can, I just don't want the extra crap on there. I am going to order the A7N8X, but can't decide if I want the deluxe or not.

well then, my soyo dragon does the job nicely. different models have different options as far as video/sound/lan, etc. my LITE only has onboard sound.

I like mine... it's running my file server with a duron 950, and hasn't had a problem yet. It's been running for nearly a year now.

My server with this ECS has been up for 160 days 24/7 running windows 2k without any restarts😀
