alright. Just loaded vista x64 again. but need to do a call in activation... since i had to replace my 'old' mobo, and i switched chipsets.
but before I go forward...
I currently just used the default setting for sata raid which I belive is IDE mode.
is this the right way to go?
I don't plan on having a raid right now... But i'm not going to say never, maybe one day i'd like to try, could I just re-enable raid in the bios and it will be enabled? or do I have to re-install.
If i'm not using raid, is there a performance difference?

I never used a J-micron based mobo, so the boot bios for that showing up is werid too me. Is there a way to hide it? or is it just always going to be there?
i'll have pics of the build up later.
