I'm still in the process of choosing a mobo for my build. The 680i seems to have a lot of bugs still, so I was thinking that I might go for the P5B Deluxe and forget about SLI

Looking at the reviews section in Newegg.com, however, there seemed to be a lot of issues on this board I didn't know about.

For Instance: is it true that you cannot install WindowsXP Pro.sp2B on this board? Look at the fifth review down, and others, for some serious problems with the board...

newegg reviews are not reviews. Most of the people who post don't even own the product they're bashing or praising.

After updating the BIOS the P5B is the best C2D overclocking board available at the moment (still holds the WR even with 680i boards around).

I don't trust newegg "reviews"

Alright, thanks for the advice. I'll just go by the the things I hear on this forum. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go for the P5B-D....

Is there any difference between the P5B-Deluxe Wi-Fi and the normal version, besides the price and Wi-Fi?

The 680i boards do have issues IMO. I bought the BFGTech reference board, and I couldn't even get Windows to install (repeated BSOD's at stock settings). While it's apparently a terrible OC'er (I haven't even tried), my nForce4 board has otherwise been awesome. It is rock stable... The only issue I've had is with Q-fan: it doesn't seem to work very well with the Zalman CNPS9500. It seems that when the cpu is cold, the fan spins too slowly for the motherboard to want to boot with Q-fan enabled. With Q-fan disabled, absolutely zero problems. I'll trade overclocking headroom for stability any day because it isn't fast if it isn't working...

Although SLI is nice, I think Im going to get the p5B-Deluxe (non-wifi). Is there a difference between the wifi/non-wifi boards other than, well, the wifi?

No difference otherwise.
