mobo prices rise or fall?

I'm planning to get a ECS K7S5A mobo from newegg, but by the time it is shipped here I will be gone for the holidays, my neighbor will get it and it will sit for a while. If I order now will prices be lower (than $57) by the time I'm back and can deal with it, or will they likely be higher or even sold out?

I know no one can see the future, but based on your sense of the market trends, if you have one. Thanks.

You won't see much change in prices that are already near the bottom of the range, you'd have more hope of a drop if it were a $170 Asus or Abit.

Pro of ordering now is you know you'll have it (no fear of out-of-stock), con is that your easy-return window might be used up so if it's DOA you might have to wait weeks/months for a manufacturer replacement.
