MoBo Onboard RAID or PCI ATA100 RAID Card?

Would anybody have a link that compares the performance of a onboard RAID controller (ie. Highpoint RAID Controller on an ABIT KR7/KG7) vs a PCI card, ATA/100 Controller like the PROMISE FASTTRAK100 TX4 RAID

Excluding the ATA133 of the KR7 (for I would be using ATA 100 HD's) Which configuration would offer the most performance?
