mobo insight needed

I currently have this set up
MSI KT3Ultra2
ATI Radeon 9600 SE
1 gig total of cheap ram fsb speeds differ
AMD Athlon XP 2400+ 2 ghz 266 fsd 256 kb processor
then 3 hard drives w/ card to support them all

is it worth upgrading to better motherboard, since I am not going to upgrade my cpu to a 64 bit chip yet?
and nothing else will be upgraded for a while

not really.
KT333 chipset as far as I know... not a bad chipset really. especially if you are keeping what you have.
a better upgrade would be a vid. card. the rest is pretty decent!

I don't think you'll need the upgrade unless you actually need it (in which case, you would upgrade the CPU as well). Keep it.. save the money for 64bit cpus =P

thx for advice and I am going to wait until 64 bit chips become cheaper or faster before I venture into the endeavor
