Does anyone know of a AMD based Socket 7 motherboard that will support a AMD 1.4 GHz Athlon, plus hold a max of 4 Gigs of memory ? Thanks.

Not possible at all. Socket 7 only supports AMD K6-2's, and AMD K6-3's. The highest I've seen them support is about 768MB of SDRAM.

Socket 7... you must be utterly confused!!!

Well if you want to get an AMD 1.4 and 4 gb of ram just get the Abit KR7A-RAID.

I think it goes for $140 and its the only motherboard with the AMD 760 chipst to work stable with all 4 dimms loaded.
