For some reason, my MB gives outragously high cpu readings. I've tryed other programs, but for soem reasons it still shows about the same temp. I'm pretty sure a k6-2 300, not o/ced, would not show a cpu temp above 250 F especially since the heatsink is cool to the touch when its on.

Supposedly it is new has one of those chipsets for thermal sensing purposes. Any help you guys can offer will be appreciated.
