what would you guys recommend? gunna be overclocking like mad so i need a really stable board. also would like it to be at max 210 dollars (US) let me know guys!!! ordering today!!

alright i think i have decided on the msi P35 platinum for the mobo. has native 45nnm support so i wont have to worry about buying a cheaper cpu to upgrade bios. also seems to keep up with the Gigabyte P35-DQ6 mobo which is a plus. over at PCstats.com it says this mobo was able to hit over 500mhz for the FSB. pretty good if you ask me. plus its got one beast of a cooling system on it. idk im kinda still leaning towards this one. let me know...

What CPU are you planning to use? Any of the 45nm CPUs is going to be just peachy for gaming without any overclocking. "Mad overclocking" is probably going to be a waste of effort and energy if all you're looking to do is gaming and light photoshop.

yea im planing on getting the E8400. but will that MSI board be adequate and stable if i wanted to overclock?

in the same body of that review I linked they reference your board

"Our handpicked E6550 will reach 7x535 on this board while attaining 7x550 on the abit IP35-Pro and MSI Platinum boards."

and I don't know why I just didn't link you this

http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=3020

it looks to be a good board and the only thing that might be "particular" to this board is the memory settings - basically they say set it to auto timings and roll with it - check out that new review i linked you

alright guys. i have made up my mind on what to buy. i am going to be ordering from 2 different places. Mwave and newegg.

Mwave-
