Hello,
I have bought g3258 and im looking for a motherboard which:
Shouldnt be expensive, can push g3258 to the limit (OC), it could be used for future overclocking for i5 k and i7 k cpus.

I have been suggested to go with Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3 and ASRock Z97 PRO4.
Also i ve done some research by myself and want to ask about boards like MSI z97 pc mate and asus z97p will these match my needs above aswell? Thanks :)

Any of the ones you mention would be fine.

In terms of brand desirability, I'd probably go:

1. Gigabyte or ASUS
2. ASUS or Gigabyte
3. AsRock or MSI
4. MSI or AsRock

But specific models will vary a bit.

Can't go wrong with a Z97-A if all you want is a basic, solid board. I bought a X99-A some time ago and it's been pretty solid, even though it lacks features like NFC & wi-fi.

The only lackluster feature for that is this:

ASUS DIGI+ VRM - 8 Phase digital power design

I'd rather get 10 or 12 if I can find it. I think our Z77-A -- similar product-class from an earlier generation -- is only 6-Phase. I was still able to push a 2700K to 4.7 without tweaking anything else than voltage and multiplier.

I'd wonder what BIOS features on the Z97-A are lacking from a higher-tier board. We couldn't adjust the PLL voltage below 1.8 on the Z77-A, and there were a few other minor irritants.

Still -- it will -- fill -- the bill. And at an economy price.

Indeed, and with haswell the power is supplied to the cpu at a higher voltage, so the vrm's don't have to work as hard.

Will Asus z97p be same good as z97a for overclocking? I cant see any difference just that z97a has sli, crossfire, higher sata speed which is not really necessary for me?
Also p 50$ cheaper

$50 cheaper than $92? Where?

My local and best online shop, im not from US btw
z97a = 162$
z97p = 109$
I have really bad experence shipping it from far away, had a lot of trouble + shipping is high
u are damn lucky 92$...

i want to get a z97 board for future upgrades, and ppl offer different things, some say msi is good other say is bad, and its like that with each brand.

It's close but I'd go for the MSI as overclocking is an option (many buy your new CPU for that reason).

The boards bigger (M-ATX vs U-ATX) so it should be less cramped (easier to install components) and it also has one more USB 3 rear IO port.

Both support iGPU
