Hey, I?m building a rig for my friend, and need a mobo and /or a chipset recommendation. I?m getting a Duron for the CPU and would like to get a mobo that I could upgrade to a Thunderbird later. I have two sticks of pc100 ram that I would like to use if possible. I?ve never built an AMD system, and I don?t know much about their chipsets, limitations, ect. Any help is appreciated, thank you -john

The 2 processors are interchangeable so whichever mobo you decide on, will take either CPU.

Thanks for the info, I think I'm gonna go for an ASUS. What chipset is better the 133 or 133A? Thanks, -john

133A is better. It will handle 133+ FSB. 133 only goes to about 110 so if you are going to upgrade later to a TBird runnning at 133 FSB, get the 133a. You can always slow down a 133a, but you can't spead up a 133 as much.
