OK call me a rookie
just built my new rig(first build by myself) as I am sitting here typing and watching it format the HD, I realize I didn't first put in the support CD.....i went into the BIOS on first powerup and everything was detected..... i then put the windows cd in and started the format and install of the OS will I be OK or should I run that cd after the install?
Please tell me Its ok....LOL

🙂

well you should run the CD that came with it to install your chipset drivers, etc. And also you will need to install video drivers most likely.

I realize I didn't first put in the support CD..

You're fine. You shouldn't put in the support first. Gotta install the OS (winXP etc) b4 you add the drivers and stuff.
