Mobo DOA?

Fans Spin, No Post, No Beeps, No Video output.

I heard G,Skill ram might be having trouble with the gigabyte board, so that could be it. But I wouldn't I at least hear a beep or two?

Set it up outside the case, with just the essentials, cleared cmos, reset everything twice.

Well, I guess I'll try the asus board next. I swear, everytime I build a PC I say its the last time, but yet I keep coming back for more.

yep, completly connected and took everything apart like 3 times

I had the same exact problem before, and it turned out to be my PSU. It would power up, and make everything spin, but the system wouldn't post. I replaced the PSU, and it posted.

i had the same problem before, but mines posted like 10 seconds after...it should be the psu

well its an antec 350watt truepower. Do you think thats DOA? 350 watts should be plenty to get it to post with just the cpu, ram, and video card (basic geforce 6200tc). Even with all my drives attatched its still suppose to consume under 300watts according to some online calculator.

I was almost expecting this, because many people have reported problems with this ram and mobo combo. Ill try to get my hands on another psu, ram, and mobo...

Yeah, you can either play the process of elimination game, or shell out the cash for a POST card. I had the same experience once that you are describing, and I thought it was the CPU or Mobo. I then traded it out, and still had the same prob. I think eventually eliminated everything but the PSU. I then put a new PSU in, and it posted fine, and ran great. Weird thing was, the fans would spin up, and the machine would power up fine, but would not POST.

I tried new vid card, memory, cpu, mobo, etc.
