mobo dead? i-will xp333-r bios checksum error

My Iwill XP333-r mobo stopped working suddenly.
Initially I got a message..

Bios checksum error. Bios Bootstrap 1.0 <blah blah..>
Insert bootdisk in a: to boot

System didn't boot even with boot disk..

After a few days, I don't even see the message anymore..

Is there any way to get it to work ?

 
BIOS ROM chips that die on their own behalf are rather rare. Much more likely, that's a RAM problem. First thing to do is revert the board to its default settings (use Clear CMOS jumper), and if still no good, try another DIMM.
