Mobo/cpu question

I just put together my rig with a EVGA 122-CK-NF68-T1 and use it with a x6800 conroe at 2.93ghz stock and when I first posted it was at a 9x multiplier it was lower then the stock speed I had to change it to 11x multiplier does this incidate a problem or no(speed step was not enabled)?
