Mobo/CPU help PLEASE...

I'm looking to do a lot of graphics (video, anmation, photoshop, etc.) I'm thinking of a double-CPU mobo. I'm not sure of the prices, everything I've seen was for servers. for now I'll only go with a sincle CPU until I make some more $$.
any ideas for the MB and CPU. I'm looking for the greatest price:Quality(speed) ratio.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
