mobo compatability

ok as some people have noticed ive been updating my shuttle one last time b4 i rebuild when AM2 comes out probably... so when i was looking at my mainboard manual that came with the mobo in my shuttle, the FB62 to be exact, i was looking and it says for Memory, it can run anything up to 1 gig of PC3200 ram per dimm which there are 2 of... it also says 2.5 v so if this is true, does it mean i cant run lets say some Corsair XMS 2g that comes stock at 2.75??

DDR DIMMs that adhere to the JEDEC specifications is 2.5V for PC2700 and below, and 2.6V for PC3200.

Anything that requires higher voltages is possibly over-specifying its timings, and needs the voltage tweak to get there.
Not all mainboards let you do that voltage tweak, so you won't get to these over-specified timings either.

Why not use a pair of DIMMs that actually, properly are capable of what they claim, within the normal range of JEDEC specification? Those'll work on any mainboard - that's the whole point of having a common specification ...
