I got this combo (today at Las Vegas Fry's), cruising this site now for any issues with the K7S5A. If you got it you should do the same. These threads keep you out of a lot of trouble!! Another site to check is AMDMB.com, but it comes in second to this site.

The mobo is very hit or miss, I tried five and they all had problems of varying degrees. It might have been a huge bad shipment cause I kept going to the same store. Know what you're getting yourself into.

Man, good price tho, this exact combo keeps getting cheaper and cheaper.

I paid close to $200 for my AXP 2000+ back when it first came out. hehehe... I've been very pleased ever since.

Yes OS I have been following yours and Peters' duals... er.. I mean posts concerning this board and had second thoughts, but the price was just to good. (I really wanted the Epox NForce).

Hopefully this will work out. I always know there is help here though.

I don't want to steal Setars thread but today (Friday) the Fry's ad came out and they have a combo 2GHZ Intel Celeron Processor and ECS P4VXASD2+ motherboard combination for $89.99 plus Kingston 256 MB DDR PC2100 memory stick for $24.99 (after rebates).
