k, i've just seen too many horror stories to go with the Iwill XP333/XP333R boards despite the performance they boast. I dont wanna go crazy into overclocking, but i might ratchet up my FSB speeds a bit (i'll use pc2400/2700 mem). now i'm left with the kt266a boards and i'm not sure which to choose. i like the epox 8kha+ since i can't afford the abit kr7a (non raid), but i'm also interested in the soltek and soyo dragon+ boards. any rec's?

I'd get the epox, soyo board is not cheap, costs more then the abit you can't afford. Soltek is good, but nothing special if you ask me.

If you don`t need RAID then the Epox 8KHA+ is very good value, as well as being rock stable :).

Newegg has the 8KHA+ (refurbished) for only $69. May be sold out by now.

avoid a refurbished mobo..IMHO I would think the possible headaches could be huge...

The abit KR7A or KR7A133 are nice boards..I have a KR7A Raid and am very happy...

Also the soyo dragon plus ivery nice as well..on baord sound/lan and raid

I love my 8KHA+ it is the best board I have owned. I thought cheap board=cheap performance and lots of headaches. Not true with the 8KHA+ for me.
